Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Happen Labs LLC (“Happen Labs,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use our games and websites, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
It applies to every game we publish — including Video Poker Deluxe and Moodoku — and to happenlabs.com and our other websites. We refer to all of these together as the “Services.” If a particular game handles information differently, we will say so in that game or in a supplement to this policy.
Happen Labs LLC is a Delaware limited liability company. For the purposes of the GDPR, we are the data controller.
1.What we collect
Information you give us
Our games do not currently require you to create an account or log in. You can play without telling us who you are.
You give us information directly when you email us, contact support, or fill in a form on our website. That usually means your email address and whatever you choose to write to us.
Information collected automatically
When you use our Services, we and our partners collect:
- Device and advertising identifiers — the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and Identifier for Vendors (IDFV) on iOS, the Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android, and app-generated identifiers such as the Firebase installation ID and an anonymous purchase identifier assigned by our billing provider.
- A push notification token, if you allow notifications. This is issued by Apple or Google and lets us send you a notification without knowing who you are.
- Device and technical information — device model, operating system and version, screen characteristics, language and locale, time zone, carrier, app version, and network type.
- IP address, which we and our partners use to derive an approximate location no more precise than country or region. We do not collect GPS or precise device location.
- Gameplay and usage data — levels started and completed, in-game progress and currency balances, features used, session length and frequency, purchases made, and advertisements shown, requested, or watched.
- Diagnostics — crash reports, error logs, and performance data.
On our websites we also use essential cookies and similar technologies required for the site to function.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect precise geolocation, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, health data, biometric data, or the contents of your device. We never receive or store your payment card details — purchases are processed entirely by Apple or Google.
2.How we use it
- To run our games and provide the features you use, including saving progress and delivering purchases.
- To understand how our games are played, so we can balance difficulty, fix problems, and decide what to build next.
- To diagnose crashes and technical faults.
- To show advertisements, including personalized advertisements where you have allowed it, and to measure whether those advertisements worked.
- To measure our own marketing — for example, to understand which advertisement led you to install a game, so we do not waste money showing you ads for a game you already have.
- To send you push notifications about your game — a reward waiting, a season ending, a new event. You choose whether to allow these when a game first asks, and you can turn them off at any time in your device settings without affecting anything else.
- To detect and prevent fraud, cheating, invalid traffic, and abuse.
- To respond to you when you contact us.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
3.Who we share it with
We do not sell your information for money. We do share it with the service providers and advertising partners listed below, who process it under their own privacy policies.

AppLovin operates a mediation platform, which means several advertising networks compete to show you each advertisement. Whichever network wins receives your advertising identifier and technical information at that moment, subject to the advertising choices described in section 4. As of the date of this policy, those networks are:
Google (AdMob) · ironSource · Unity Ads · Vungle (Liftoff) · Mintegral · InMobi · Chartboost · Fyber (Digital Turbine) · Moloco · BidMachine · Meta Audience Network.
We add and remove networks from time to time. This list reflects those active when this policy was last updated, and we will revise it when it changes.
We may also disclose information:
- To comply with law, a court order, or a valid request from a public authority.
- To protect our rights or property, investigate possible wrongdoing, or protect the safety of our players or the public.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
4.Advertising and your controls
Our games are free to play and supported by advertising. Some of the advertisements you see are personalized, meaning they are selected using your advertising identifier and information about the apps you use.
You can turn personalized advertising off at any time:
- iOS and iPadOS — when a game first asks permission to track you, decline. You can change your answer later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining stops us and our partners from using your IDFA.
- Android — Settings → Privacy → Ads, then delete your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization.
- Industry opt-outs — DAA, NAI, and EDAA in Europe.
Turning off personalized advertising does not remove advertisements from our games. You will still see them; they will simply be less relevant.
On our website, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser.
5.How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. In practice:
- Gameplay and analytics data is retained in identifiable form for up to 14 months, after which it is aggregated or deleted.
- Crash and diagnostic data is retained for up to 90 days.
- Support correspondence is retained for up to 24 months after your issue is resolved.
- Purchase and tax records are retained for as long as the law requires us to keep them.
6.Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not participate in Google Play's Designed for Families program or Apple's Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email contact@happenlabs.com and we will delete it.
Video Poker Deluxe is a social casino game intended for adults. It simulates gambling using virtual coins only. No real money can be won, and playing it does not indicate future success at real-money gambling.
7.If you are in the EEA or UK

Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent you have given. Exercising these rights is free and we will respond within one month.
To make a request, email contact@happenlabs.com. Because our games have no accounts, please include your device's advertising identifier so we can locate your data — without it we may not be able to identify you, and we will tell you if that is the case.
You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority, or to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are in the UK.
8.If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law
This section applies if you live in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law.
Categories we collect. Identifiers (including device and advertising identifiers and IP address), internet and app activity, commercial information about purchases, and inferences drawn from that activity. We collect these from you directly, automatically as you use our Services, and from our advertising and analytics partners.
Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. However, when we allow advertising partners to use your advertising identifier to show you personalized advertisements, that activity is treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, and may be treated as a “sale” or as “targeted advertising” under other state laws.
How to opt out. Use the device controls in section 4 — declining tracking on iOS or opting out of ads personalization on Android stops this sharing, and is the fastest and most reliable method. You can also email contact@happenlabs.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.”
Sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information as that term is defined under California law, so there is nothing for you to limit.
Your other rights. You may request to know what we have collected about you, request a copy of it, request correction of inaccurate information, and request deletion. You may appeal a decision we make about your request by replying to our response. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Minors. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
9.Where your information goes
We are based in the United States and our Services are operated from there. If you use our Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and in other countries where our partners operate, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with additional safeguards where they are needed.
10.Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will give you notice in our games or on our website before it takes effect.
